Hissatsu

Postby Phenic » Fri Dec 25, 2009 2:22 am

Thank you for those first 10, thats a lot of fun. Its odd, i'd probably never pick up an Anime soccer comedic action drama but have to say, it doesn't disappoint. I was wondering though, what exactly is Hissatsu? When I first heard the term in
Onmyou Taisenki, I just assumed it was something fairly indigenous to the series but seeing it here is making me think its a much more common term. I'm just guessing its like an easier way of saying "special technique" but I'd rather be sure than assume.

Yeah for a sports anime it's definitely very unique :3
err did you see the note at top with the subs when they first show up in the serise? o.o the note's there in both onmyou and inazuma, check it. It says sure-kill. that's the literal meaning, but obviously not all the moves are for "killing" so we kept it as hissatsu.
But yeah, the notes are there for a reason so check them when they show up!

Hissatsu is pretty much an all-purpose term. In most cases it's similar to what we'd call a finisher. If Onmyou Taisenki is anything to go by, it seems to lose its meaning a lot.

Also: When the English versions of FE10 would indicate "Critical", the Japanese version gives us 「必殺」. :3

Thanks for clearing that up and no i didn't see it which is strange cause usually i do read them when i see them. I don't think i've seen a single top note in Inazuma yet though, although i'm betting it has something to do with watching them windows media player. Yes its trash and yes your faq says specifically not too, but for some reason i'm not getting any sub tittles using MPC, and the "subtitle" menu is greyed out. Odd that I can change the audio (when as far as I can tell there is only one) and not any subtitles. Still a fun sieres, will grab ep 11 when i can

more smiles! :kazemaru: :matsuno: :natsumi:

Uninstalling everything cccp-related and then re-installing usually solves issues. I've had to reinstall everything in occasionally from my own issues with playback/encoding.

The Hissatsu moves are one of the top reasons I love this show. I want to see more two and three player moves!

Grand Fire. I'm a bit bored with fire moves but I really liked it.

Emperor penguin no 3 looked great! Favorite penguin attack hands down. Maou the Hand is boring. Too similar looking to Majin the Hand. Can't forget the awesome jello attack from Tobitaka.
