I'm personally not impressed with a single part of this pic because I don't like the inorganic, and the human looks a little insultingly like a Taichi and Daisuke lovechild. Thus I place my hopes on the dog thing and the pink thing on it. Eh... need cast/staff list to possibly change my opinion.

This looks more like Gundam than Digimon. o.o

The kid's appearance is horrifically unoriginal and the digivice looks like it came from Magiranger, and as has been mentioned, the digimon look like gundams.

But we'll probably warm to the kid, everyone hated the Savers digivice when it was revealed (lolll a ipod is there digivcies), and, um... no, I'll probably still hate the digimon.

I'd say this new digivice looks more like an ipod than the Savers one. With a shaver. :| hahahahaha
I actually didn't think much of the Savers digivice when it came out. I don't think much of this digivice either.
Again, not much for the machines...; Although I do find the Savers Burst Digivice to be pretty sexy. One of the few exceptions. xD

Good question. This is coming from some gashapon listings on some online stores *adds source in 1st post*. I don't really like how this news is showing up from such obscure places. :\

If it's really going as people assume, it would start after Dragon Ball Kai ends in the summer. Along with the new DS Story games coming out, I guess they could be planning some huge revival to come all at once.

That new digivice really looks like a ripoff of one of the Rockman EXE (AKA Battle Network) anime's styles of PErsonal Terminals. --the Beast season, I think. Hrm.

hmm, wasn't there a rockman device that looked even more like the new digivice though? I don't really see a resemblence in that one except the circle under the screen.

Even the digivice is a ripoff, the story is hopefully an exciting one, wich is much more important. that's what i think.

Kid looks like a Tai x Davis love child. Hope there are more kids in this season. The character interactions are one of the best parts of Digimon.

Digimon's character interactions have been good no matter how many characters they used. I wouldn't worry about that part. If I were to guess, I'd say they'd probably do a Power Trio again.
